Hans Van Klinken designed the Klinkhammer to fool the most selective of trout. The special hook design allows for a portion of the fly to remain below the surface film while giving the floating properties of a standard parachute dry. It also allows for a better hookup rate because of the bend of the hook which was initially done to help with the smaller mouthed grayling.
