Hey guys! It's time for yet another special full flight video...but this one is REALLY up there and historic. In this vid, I travel aboard Avelo Airlines' B737800 on their very first revenue flight ever. The route was from their base of operations in Burbank, CA up to Santa Rosa, CA. I had an absolute blast aboard this inaugural flight as the mood and atmosphere onboard from all the employees and Avgeeks to the toasts and announcements were all very special and memorable. This inaugural definitely had the most festivities of any retirement or inaugural flight and even though it was an ultra low cost carrier, I enjoyed every minute of it. I really think Avelo has a chance because they have a clear goal in mind with a strong leadership team to man the ship at the top. If they will actually cater to the passenger and treat people like humans instead of cattle, I think they'll gain a good reputation as time goes on. I will definitely be onboard again in the future to see what a normal experience on Avelo is like, but for now I really hope you guys enjoy this very special flight on the inaugural flight for this new U.S. airline!
