Greetings! :D

In this episode of Flying Failures, we return to the UK, and the Armstrong Whitworth AW.55 Apollo, a fourengined turboprop conceived under the Brabazon Committee that would go headtohead with the Vickers Viscount, or at least it would have done had it been fitted with dedicated powerplants built specially for airliners rather than making do with four underpowered units which had been designed for small singleseat fighters and trainers, leading inevitably to its downfall.
