Taking a trip down memory lane, and picking up one of the 2008 rereleases, I realized it was almost the exact same scale as the UMX A10 from Horizon. https://www.horizonhobby.com/umxa10...

With some foam surgery, a bit of sanding and a repaint, it was transformed into the iconic 1984 rattler: https://imgur.com/a/Mq0Nc
The paint is Liquitex Cobalt Blue in a rattle can, and the decals are from http://www.tfkingdom.com/ The rest of the additions, including the turret and 3rd engine, are made out of bits of Depron and plastic sheet.

It was a fun little project, that ended up flying as well, if not a bit better than the stock A10. Time to get working on a Conquest X30 :)

As with all my builds, this is strictly for fun.
