Navigating the massive sink between thermals are frustrating, but makes catching that next piece of lift so much more rewarding. I'm doing some light practice with my BAMF 2 DLG. Discus launch gliders are unpowered RC gliders that are thrown into the air like a discus, and rely on rising warm air thermals to climb while flying.
