Join me live in the eagerly anticipated Wing42 Boeing 247! Designed and built in the 1930’s the 247 was considered the first modern airliner and was revolutionary at the time. Wing42 have faithfully recreated this iconic aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Some of the features include an accurately replicated flight model and the implementation of their inhouse propotronic physics engine which provides a realistic aircraft, engine and maintenance simulation and also an inhouse simulation of Radio Range navigation, along with many more features!

Today we’re flying in Hawaii, flying from Hilo (PHTO) to the Island of Maui (PHOG). On the way we’ll climb up to 14,000ft to explore the Mauna Kea Observatory before trying our hand at radio range navigation to fly inbound to Maui, before landing at Kahului Airport.
