As you know I recently checked out the all new Cirrus SR20 G7. First impression was phenomenal to be honest. The Cirrus brand is known to attract new Pilots for obvious reasons. These planes are packed with some of the best safety and modern features that helps out the Pilot a ton. The SR series are also heavier more stable aircraft.

Today I got a chance to fly the SR20 Model. A much heavier airplane than what I am used to flying. I didn’t feel the burn on a hot humid today though because the Cirrus SR models come equipped with air condition.

Here are some of the cool features i noticed
1. Weight The Cirrus G7 weigh in at over 3000 lbs. This is 1000 pounds more than what i’m used to flying. Controls feel heavier and more stable

2. You get all the tech the new G7 avionics package is identical to what you find in the Jet and single engine turbine world. I can’t really count how many features you get but a ton. SEE    • Inside The New Cirrus SR22 G7

3. Airbags in the wierdest places Today I found out you get airbags in your seatbelts flying the Cirrus G7. Talk about an extra step t safety

All in all, I think Cirrus delivered a nice offering in their new SR20 G7 model. It will cost you $634,000 for a brand new airplane. That’s a price most people may not be able to afford. But Cirrus drivers certainly will.
