This is Mission number 8 in our fictional Operation Burning Sands Campaign where we are bringing the fictional countries of the old Strike Fighters Flight Simulator Series to life within ‪@EagleDynamicsTV‬ Digital Combat Simulator World. Members of my community have been craving more story driven missions and more roleplaying in said missions and a fictional campaign with a fictional storyline allows us to breakthrough the harsh geopolitical realities of the DCS Syria Map and create a gritty, Tom Clancy like storyline for our two fictional middle eastern nations of the Kingdom of Dhimar and the Empire of Paran.

In this mission, the Shah of Dhimar has just left the memorial service for his fallen son, an F14A Tomcat pilot based at Ramat David, as he contemplates and reflects on what modern war means, and what his nation is fighting for. I am flying a Royal Dhimar Marine Corps F/A18C Hornet leading a MASSIVE Strike Package on the very first combat mission for the RDMC in fixed wing aircraft.
