What an amazing experience it was to be able to fly the most iconic bomber from World War II. After experiencing this aircraft for myself, I have a new found respect for the men who flew it I can not imagine flying over enemy controlled Europe in this!
I was told the average life span of these aircraft was no more than 5 missions... and even still these aircraft are built tough!
