Flysky FS ST8 Transmitter Compared with Spektrum NX6

Follow
RC Jim

A low cost alternative for a highly functioning RC plane transmitter is evaluated, showing what the settings are and comparing it with the Spektrum NX6 transmitter. The Flysky FSST8 is shown to be a good low cost alternative, even though it is lacking some of the features provided by Spektrum NX radios. Note that this is a review of the "standard" version. There is now an upgraded version that has a "shoulder wheel" control and provision for two keys on the back. Also, the firmware in this review is old. The current version apparently has provision for a reduced power range check. We will try that out and update our review soon. We also have some three position switches on order, and will try installing those and show you what's involved. Finally, we have made enquiries about "Hall Effect" gimbals. Firmware is available for them. So, subscribe and keep checking to see what new things we have to help you.
