Tom McGuinn sent this Machine to me to assemble and have ready when he comes again next year. It's a neat airplane but did have a couple of issues. Thanks Tom. It flies great! Here is the water flight test link. • De Havilland DHC2 Beaver Sea Plane o...
The DHC2 Beaver is a general purpose bush plane developed by de Havilland Canada. Though originally used for cargo/passenger hauling and crop dusting, it was also adopted by the United States Armed Forces as a utility aircraft and search and rescue unit. The singleengine, highwing, propellerdriven STOL aircraft appeared in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was popular among front line men. When production finally ceased in 1967, only 1,657 DHC2 Beavers had been built.
