This it the first flight of 2023.
It was 49 degrees outside but Pete was dressed for it.
The start was a little rough after sitting for 8 months but once the fuel and oil lines were sufficiently primed, everything was working fine.

N7756J is a full scale Replica of the WW1 German fighter the Fokker DVII on display at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, NY. The home built aircraft has many original instruments and is as historically accurate except the engine. The engine is a Ranger 64405 200 hp engine out of a Fairchild PT26. The engine was inverted so that the cylinders would be on top of the crankshaft to resemble the original engine.
