Dependent loops in Foley tubing put patients at risk for developing Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI). Diligently utilizing techniques to avoid dependent loops can drastically reduce the risk of developing CAUTI. In this video, various bag placements and techniques will be demonstrated to help health care workers keep their patients with Foley Catheters safe from infection.
