Santa Fe round trip to Tahoe Junction.

Follow this LGB F7 ABA Santa Fe with its string of six cars. The Tahoe Junction Division has almost 2,000 feet of track. The "Big Hill" is 100's of feet long with a 40 climb. It is almost a continuous 6% grade with multiple tunnels, shear cliffs and two viaducts, one is over 5 feet high. Leave from the main yard, see the spectacular 3 Bridges Gorge, traverse the high desert, travel through the tunnels of Eights' Pass, ride along the edge of the massive China Wall, go through Harris Junction, ride atop the amazing viaduct, into Mooser Tunnel and then to the top station, Tahoe Junction.
