On September 26, US President Joe Biden, who announced $7.9 billion in defence aid to Ukraine, revealed in his statement the contents of the aid. According to Oleksandr Musienko, head of the Centre for Military and Legal Studies, @Musienko_channel noted that the JSOW is a highprecision glider bomb weighing about 500 kilograms, which, in the case of highaltitude flight, is designed to be dropped at a range of up to 130 kilometres. It can also be mounted on F16s, but highaltitude flight is difficult for Ukrainian pilots due to Russia's longrange SAMs and superiority in fighter aircraft. In order to strengthen Ukraine's air defence, the US President instructed the Ministry of Defence to repair and provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot air defence battery, as well as to provide Ukraine with additional missiles for such batteries.
