The Ford Ecosport is a new subcompact utility based on the Ford Fiesta platform but differs because it uses independent suspension. The Ecosport has a rather clumsy swingout rear cargo door that isn't great for parking. The interior is filled with hard plastic but the SE trim can be equipped with an 8inch display audio system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto but this is optional. The power goes to either the front wheels or rear wheels through a 6speed automatic. The base engine is a 1.0L turbo 3cylinder or optional 2.0L 4cylinder. The interior is small but the seats are comfortable with great outward viability. handling is strong and the small engine is willing. There are some high and low points of the Ecosport, one low point is the price. As tested this model is almost $27,000 and that doesn't include AWD,
