Ford Fairlane was one of the best selling cars in the history of the Ford Motor Company it named after the Dearborn, Michigan estate of Henry Ford, the Henry Ford. It was introduced as the flagship of the Ford line up and 5 years later to relegated to fleet use only to reemerge as a top seller again in the 60’s. I can think of no Ford nameplate that went through such drastic and complete changes both in terms of size as well in the customer Ford was targeting as a buyer. It’s a story of riches to rags to riches and then back to rags again. See if you agree me and let’s take a look at all things Ford Fairlane.
