I love the "$100 Hamburger" and group flyins, but early in the morning when everyone is sleeping or on their way to work, I'll grab my little stove, some fresh coffee and go fly to a quiet grass strip to get the day started. I'd rather have a mediocre cup of coffee at a grass strip than a good cup at home or at a Cafe. The truth is, after doing this a while this coffee is pretty damn good, lol. You could Bring a little water boiler and do a pour over (Which I did here as well because I was going to compare coffee but then decided to cut that part out, lol) , you can bring some in a thermos, or do what I do and bring out the percolator. The point is to get out there early in the AM and fly somewhere, even if by yourself to sit and have your morning coffee.
