This flight was full of excitement with Leland and Tom, who fly together in their Christen Eagles as the Next Gen Eagles team currently the only team doing so in these airplanes. We had Miles join us in his RV, which unfortunately had a tail camera mounted that did not end up recording. After a thorough brief between pilots, strapping up our cameras and parachutes, we headed out to demonstrate some of the maneuvering capabilities of these incredible airplanes.
