Fossil leaves are often overlooked compared to animal fossils. However, without fossil leaves, we would miss a large piece of understanding our past. Leaves can tell us what the environment was like when animals like dinosaurs were alive. Leaves come in all different shapes and sizes, which are effect by the type of climate the plant lives in. With this information can get a clear picture of how animals thrived in their environment.
