☆　Although it is a wellknown engine all over the world, there are surprisingly few documents on actual operation, so I tried running it myself.I hope it will be helpful to FOX fans. 　　　★In the video, it looks like it is difficult to start, but because it is an initial adjustment, once you understand the opening degree of the needle setting, you can start without any problem. The notch and frame of the needle adjustment width are narrower and more sensitive than the glow, so you need to feel it. ★The gasoline version has almost no starting knock like the glow model, so I think it will take some getting used to until you get the hang of the mixture density. ★I think the manual timer is slow, and this engine had signs that the previous owner (user?) had replaced the shaft, and the spark was set to be delayed. Currently, if you move it about 20 degrees further, I think the adjustment bar will be at the max and will be right above you, but since the cam shaft is a drivein type, I don't recommend tweaking it frequently. ★If the engine will fit inside the aircraft during actual flight such as a speed aircraft, I think it would be okay to fix it with bolts instead of a bar at the best position.In fact, this method is often seen on McCOY and other engines. I think♪♪　　★The fuel is a makeshift blend, but the oil is synthetic. Originally, I think it would be castor oil, but modern lubricants have good performance, so I don't think it will be a problem, but I would like nitromethane for a little more cooling and power. On the other hand, domestically produced nitromethane can be used as a blend for explosives and pesticides, making it difficult for individuals to obtain it outside of businesses and research facilities. Moreover, it is quite expensive considering the content (500ml 12,000 yen~), but in other countries it is sold normally for 1.86$ 500ml~, but do you like public regulations and restrictions? Currently, it is difficult to import and purchase "Galapagos JAPAN♪♪" in Japan...(^^;.
