FPV and INAV In an E-Flite Carbon Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m - Line of Sight Setup: Part 4

Steve Salisbury

Welcome to Part 4 of the FPV tutorial. This tutorial was challenging for me to get through. I learned that setting the servo BEC to 6V was not the proper way to go. I was trying to ensure the retracts had enough juice, but 5V is plenty to power them. The SpeedyBee flight controller falls short from the initial surge of power that the three retracts together require. I came up with a lessthanideal solution, but it works fine. See what I did in this tutorial.

By the end of this tutorial the CZ T28 Trojan is almost ready for "Line of Sight" flying. Everything but the FPV gear is installed in the model and tested. The next thing to do to fly line of sight is to setup the Arming and Flight modes. Those will be covered in the next tutorial.
