We are trying to make flying fixed wing FPV simple for pilots who dedicate time, effort and practice to it. Undeniably the most difficult part of flying fixed wing FPV is landing. We are working on an air data display which gives you the numbers you need to fly and land safe!

The display shows airspeed, RPM, altitude, and battery level. Our new team member Mike was flying the Viper for the first time and greased a tandem landing. The confidence gained from knowing your airspeed and altitude while landing is game changing. The data is relayed to the display screen in real time with no lag or screen stutter. We still needed to fine tune presentation and calibrate the raw data but we are getting good results already. Notice the Pitot Tube visible just above the dash on the left?

**NEW TEAM MEMBER MIKE**
Mike has over 15,000 hours flying full scale airplanes professionally. Mike has flown aerobatic and done formation flying for years and admits RC is much harder. This was Mike's first time flying one of our Viper's, we gave him the correct approach speed to aim for and this video was the result.

Airdata display is in the late prototype phase and is not fully accurate yet. Pilot did go over the Alt limit and the spotter immediately warned the pilot to come back down so this is a very useful tool to NOT break airspace. The Airdata display should be available soon standalone or as a part of integrated FPV cockpit. Email us for info on the Airdata display or our Head Tracker!
