FrançoiseMarie de Bourbon, Duchess of Orléans was born on May 4 1677 at the Château de Maintenon and died on February 1 1749 in Paris Se was the acknowledged illegitimate daughter of King Louis XIV of France and Madame de Montespan.
Françoise Marie de Bourbon was married to her cousin, Duke Philip II D’Orléans, who was the Regent of France during the minorty of Louis XV from 1715 to 1721.
