As we start Class C RVing to NORTHERN Vancouver Island we luck out with some FREE Camping in BC. With FREE FIREWOOD included at these sites for us, that's a full time RV living bonus! The RV vlog and RV life continues friends, let's get CAMPING!

Since we will be catch the ferry to the Sunshine coast in a more central Vancouver Island location, we figured we better RV the North first and then end closer to the ferry. It was a mountainous drive in the Class C RV to get North but no problem for our rig! We also don't have any BC Provincial Parks coming up for awhile so it's going to be finding free camping and boondocking as the mission for awhile.

We briefly visited Campbell River before RVing north and we really enjoyed this town. Lots of free parking for our Class C RV and free camping overnight opportunities (boondocking) we hope to take advantage of. It's also so scenic being able to park free right at the Fisherman's Pier and take in some amazing Vancouver Island ocean views.

RVing North we were worried about finding a camping site but managed to find a free BC recreation camping site in a good location too. They had also recently fallen some trees there so while FREE Camping BC, we also got FREE FIREWOOD! It was very wet wood but hey, the price was right haha. We stayed at the beautiful Marble River Recreation Camp site, located right near the highway and just outside out the Marble River Provincial Park area. We even managed to get some RV camping on the River side one night.
