We camped for free in the Mohave National Preserve amongst the boulders just off Kelbaker Road.
It was the perfect over night place to stay on our way to Arizona. You can't beat the views, the peace and quiet and especially the free part. It was a windy night but that is to be expected in the desert during the spring. Our stay on Kelbaker Rd was in late April of 2024.
