Welcome to our firsttime watching as we react to Free Guy (2021). This incredibly funny movie starring Ryan Reynolds was filled with surprises and references!

Directed by Shawn Levy, "Free Guy" (2021) follows Guy, a bank teller who discovers he's actually a nonplayable character (NPC) in a chaotic openworld video game. The film has a cool premise that kind of reminded us of "The Matrix" movie. Ryan Reynolds brings his comedic genius into it and gives it his all.

The film feels like a love letter to not only gaming and more specifically indie developers but also a love letter to huge IP's like Marvel's Avengers, Star Wars etc. We got some solid performances here with the cast including Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, and Taika Waititi.

This was such a great time and we truly went nuts with how many references they managed to squeeze in! Sit back and relax and join us as we experience "Free Guy" for the first time!
