Snowflake, a 4yearold, female spayed, French Bulldog, presented to SEVN for evaluation of difficulty walking in her pelvic limbs. SEVN performed an MRI which revealed an intervertebral disc extrusion at L1L2 that was causing spinal cord compression. She was immediately taken into surgery. Snowflake underwent decompressive spinal surgery via hemilaminectomy. Thanks to SEVN she is doing well, back to her old self. She is walking, running and is comfortable. This is her journey.
