As part of our French adventure ( 8 weeks in France) and part of the longer year out of traveling, we took advantage of the long French BH weekend and took Mia our granddaughter to visit Julie's sister and brother in law on their farm in the Limousin. It was a 3 hour journey with a stop over in the town of Aubusson in the Creuse where we explored this medieval town prior to heading on to the farm for our 5 day adventure.

Andy helped with the routine morning feeding jobs. The race was then on to get the silaging done before the weather turned and the rain started once more.

It wasn't all work we played in the the newly installed swimming pool as well as evening walks along country lanes and swings in the barns. This is week 21 of our year out.

Hello we are Andy and Julie we have taken a years (or maybe more) sabbatical from work to travel at home and abroad.

To date our travels have included St Lucia, Martinique, back packing in Columbia and Peru. At home we have visited St Ives (Cornwall), Cumbria, and North Devon.

We are currently on a 8 week adventure in France staying in the Dordogne region to get a feel of French life and polish off the French

Later in the year our adventures and travels will include Hong Kong, Vietnam and Sardinia.

This year is about new adventures , new experiences , pausing the 95 , spending time with family and learning new skills. Our mantra for the year is CARPE DIEM (seize the day) !!
