With the onset of the cold season, hats, scarves, gloves, and all sorts of accessories for this season came into use. Even if there are special shelves for this in the hallway, there is an eternal mess there. Everything falls into one heap.
And also umbrellas, brushes and rollers for cleaning clothes, shoe polish. All this must be placed so that it can be found quickly.
I have a closet in my hallway with storage boxes and a hanging organizer for small items. Everything is stored there, but it is not enough. I came up with the idea to make a special organizer for autumn and put in it what is needed during these days, so that there is nothing unnecessary at hand.
This will be a vertical organizer. Why I love such things is that they do not take up much space, and the capacity is large.
My organizer will be attached to a wooden hanger.
How to do it?
First you need to decide on the size. The width corresponds to the width of the hanger, and the length is at your discretion.
The fabric will be in two layers.
First I sewed the loops. I stitched them to the top of the product on one side.
Then I folded the fabric with the right side inward and connected it. She turned the fabric inside out.
I turned the organizer at the bottom so that the rail would fit there.
I sewed on the buttons.
Pockets:
Their quantity is made according to your needs. The bottom row is for umbrellas.
For the pockets, I cut out fabric and treated it with trim.
The depth of the pockets is done like this: take the thing that will lie there and wrap it with this strip. Now it’s clear how much fabric is needed.
First I sewed vertical lines, then I made folds at the bottom of the pocket and only then attached them. This is necessary for volume, so that the thing that will be there fits freely.
Ready!
This type of organizer is convenient because it can be unfastened and put away in the summer when not needed, and the hanger can be used as usual.

2) Friends bring me kilos of old bed linen. And I'm just glad. I took the iris threads and transformed this trash into beauty.
I recently told my friends not to throw away old and unnecessary bed linen, but to bring it to me for alteration. So they brought me a total of 10 kg, and half of them were in brown tones.
So I’m slowly transforming all this stuff into necessary things and giving it back to friends and relatives.
Now is the time to make a rug in this fall color scheme. You can use different manufacturing techniques and in any case it will turn out beautiful. It will be nice to feel the cotton under your feet if it is a rug, or sit on a chair if it is a seat.
To get started, you need to prepare. I cut strips of fabric 7 cm wide.
I prepared iris threads and a hook.
Very often, when I start a new job, I plan to do one thing, but in the process I end up doing something else. So here, at first I wanted to connect the strips with a needle and thread and wind a strip of fabric in a spiral over another strip.
But after several attempts it turned out differently.
Master class:
I took two strips and twisted them around its axis. I crocheted a rope 4 cm long and twisted it like a snail.
Then she continued in the same way, but with a hook she grabbed the bottom row, thereby fastening the flagella together.
You need to make sure that the mat does not roll up during work. Therefore, the strips do not need to be stretched too much; after every 23 turns, the product is ironed.
I sewed the strips together by hand with a needle and thread.
This is how it turned out, the mat is hard and holds its shape well.
It will be beautiful to use fabrics of all colors of the rainbow. The shape can be given not only round, but also oval, square or rectangular.
You don't have to have a lot of money to make a beautiful thing. From scrap materials you can create any cozy item for the home that will delight the owner with its appearance.
