# Trip Highlights:

"Join us on a profound journey through Ghana with two esteemed Caribbean delegates, Ronald Hugh Small and the Honorable Rosalea Hamilton. In this enlightening series, we explore the deep historical and cultural connections between the Caribbean and Africa, while celebrating the power of diplomacy and shared heritage.

Our adventure begins with an intimate meeting at the residence of former President J. A. Kufuor, where unexpected bonds and mutual acquaintances come to light. We then travel to the solemn and reflective Assin Manso and Donkor Nsuo, The Slave River, a site that resonates with the echoes of a painful past, reminding us of the enduring strength of the human spirit.

The journey continues to the Cape Coast Castle, a haunting reminder of the atrocities of the slave trade, where we pay homage to the resilience of our ancestors. We then experience the vibrant energy of Independence Square and delve into the legacy of W.E.B. Du Bois at his dedicated centre in Accra, celebrating the spirit of PanAfricanism.

Our trip culminates with an inspiring evening at a networking event organized by the GUBA Diaspora Network, where ideas and cultures converge under the Ghanaian stars.

This series is not just a travelogue; it's a voyage through time and heritage, uncovering the unbreakable bonds that link the Caribbean to Africa. Join us as we uncover stories of resilience, unity, and hope.
