"I Am an Outsider" Episode 25 features Danny Lee, currently working as a Design Lead at a local company in New Zealand. Danny came to New Zealand as an international student at the age of 16 and gradually worked his way up from a junior designer to his current position.

He shared that Korean designers are highly skilled, and if they can overcome the language barrier, they have the potential to be recognized as top designers in New Zealand. Although he has built a successful career at a local company, Danny wanted to talk about something other than his jobrelated achievements.

That topic is panic disorder.

Danny has been dealing with panic disorder for many years but didn’t even know what it was for a long time, which led to frequent arguments with his wife. Through conversations with her, he slowly began to recognize his symptoms. During a visit to Korea, he was diagnosed with panic disorder by a doctor.

After understanding why he was experiencing psychological anxiety, he and his wife started focusing on how they could build a better life together. From that point on, they communicated more, and with the arrival of their children, they found a new direction for their life.

Danny appeared on my channel as part of his efforts to overcome panic disorder.

I would like to sincerely thank Danny for sharing such personal stories with us. I will be praying from afar that the next time we meet, he will have fully overcome his panic disorder.
