In this video I take a white PS2 Slim that was donated to the channel and attempt to breathe some new life into it. During my email exchange with the previous owner, he stated that he acquired this console (along with others) from a local contact that works in scrap. This is LITERALLY one of those systems that was destined for the trash, not eBay, not Craigslist, not Facebook Marketplace. It was going to be salvaged for some scrap metal. My heart hurts just thinking about it.

This turned out to be one hell of a transformation, especially once I realized what this PS2 Slim looked like on the inside. The restoration wasn’t without its challenges and I ran into a small hiccup along the way. In the end, I was proud of the outcome and trust I did this ugly duckling justice.
