I'll cover common asked questions like "what is eva foam?". I'll go over what it is, made of, what brands and products I use in my jon boat builds, the differences in foam textures and color variations, problems that can occur, as well as the pros and cons of eva foam. I cover the topic of eva foam vs bass boat carpet. I do a liquid test on the eva foam to demonstrate is closed cell construction. I cover the durability and ease of cleaning of eva foam.
Next, I go overall the tools and materials needed to do a diy eva foam installation. Then I show you step by step the entire installation process, leaving no stone left unturned! I show prep, how to measure and cut, layout turf breaks and spans, templating, where to cut and butt seams, how to cut around lids, hinges, and edges, and much much more!
