This is a semihistorical scenario depicting the events surrounding the bombing and destruction of the Ludendorff bridge in Remagen on the 17th of March 1945. Historically, the bridge fell after 10 days of continued bombing by Axis bombers, including Ar234s from III./KG76. Although in reality the bridge fell on its own in the afternoon of the 17th, the mission depicts what it would be like if the Germans were more successful with their Ar234 strikes.

Please do have in mind that this is not supposed to be an accurate representation of reality. That is why the video title begins with "IL2 1946". I am aware of IL2s flaws and there is no need to tell me of them. This is just a rough approximation of what such a raid could have been like, no history lesson.
