Restoring Heron is no small feat, and there's no such thing as a free boat. Day 1 was dominated by sweat, as scorching 90°F heat set the stage for our adventure. Through scrubbing, exploring, and taking meticulous notes, the crew encountered surprises—some good, some bad, and some downright ugly.
