In this miniseries, created in collaboration with Pear Persian Founder Circle (PFC) from Pear VC, we engage with Persian entrepreneurs to gain insights into their domains and their experiences in Cohort 1 of the PFC.

In this episode, we had a conversation with Amir Kavousian. Amir completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at Sharif University, then proceeded to Stanford University for his Masters and PhD. He began his career as a data scientist before founding a cybersecurity company, which was later acquired by CoinList. Amir is also an active angel investor in the Bay Area and is currently working on his second venture. We discussed his perspectives on security and AI, as well as the acquisition process.
