Engine overhauled in 1989
Crane cam, lifters, valve springs, timing chain set
block and heads degreased in an acid tank
replaced bearings, gaskets, rings, push rods, freeze plugs, oil pump, water pump, fuel pump Done by previous overhaul:
cylinders .040" over
crankshaft journals .030" under
valve seats and valve guides replaced in ONE of the eight combustion chambers

Also installed over the years:
Oversize Holley carburetor replaced with original equipment Carter carburator (both included)
Mallory Unilite distributor, coil
Hooker headers, complete exhaust system
new gas tank
radiator recored
front end overhaul (ball joints, control arm bushings, tierod assemblies)
transmission overhauled
In 2004, stainless steel brake lines, SS sleeved calipers, hoses, wheel cylinders, pads, master cylinder/power assist booster, silicone brake fluid
