Create a flap over garter stitch brim on any round loom for either beanies or slouch hats like my city slouch hat pattern. This video uses ewrap for the knit stitch to make a looser fitting brim, but a uwrap or flat knit stitch could also be used for a tighter fit. Video shows how to cast on and do the first 2 rows which are then repeated exactly the same until desired length for brim. Once brim is desired length use basic bind off for the extra stitches that were cast on and join to work in the round for the rest of your hat.
