California Governor Gavin Newsom has rolled out similar policies to those seen in San Francisco which have seen the state turn into a “dump”, according to author Douglas Murray.

Mr Murray warned the governor has “no record to run on” for president.

“He talks all the time about the latest stuff about equity and equality and all that sort of thing and he presides over one of the most extraordinarily unequal states,” Mr Murray told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi.
