The Battle of Karbala took place on 10 October 680 AD according to the Islamic calendar view of 10 Muharram 61 AH[8][9] in what is now Karbala in presentday Iraq. This war was fought by some supporters of the Prophet of Islam, Husain Ibn Ali, some of his relatives, and the Umayyad Caliphate, whose group Hossein Dok, was first organized to characterize.
This battle resulted in the capture of Hussein and his young monthold son, Ali alAsghar Hussein, along with all of Hussein's supporters,including women and children.
