Before the Marcus Phoenix trilogy, someone else fought a key battle for the survival of humanity: the sarcastic lieutenant, Damon Baird.

30 days after the terrible day of the emergency, humanity was facing the greatest threat it had ever known: the locust, a race from the underground that emerged to take over Sera. Chaos and destruction reigned in all cities. However, one of them was under direct siege by one of his most dangerous generals: Karn, who was responsible for destroying the ancient and glorious Gorasnaya Republic.

Now, in the middle of a devastating siege, Baird and his team must face this threat and seek to stop it by any means possible. Even if it means disobeying direct orders and being put on trial.

This is the story of how Kilo Squad saved the future of humanity in Halvo Bay.
