Kilo Squad The Survivor's Log is an illustrated book from the franchise that serves as a companion to Gears of War: Judgment and reveals numerous details of the story and the universe.

This is a diary made up of multiple letters that Baird writes to his parents after they died during the fateful EDay. Here we can take a look at the events that took place before, during and after Judgment. As well as knowing various details of the conflict during its first month.

In this diary, big questions are answered, such as: How did Baird obtain the rank of lieutenant? How did Baird and Cole meet? What are the origins of Paduk and Sofia? What happened before the game? What were the aftermath of the invasion of Halvo Bay?

All these and more doubts are resolved thanks to this book.
