I’ll rate this 2023 edition in 10 categories.

This edition uses the new Gemini box with a void showing you the model. It’s very neat. The protection is definitely good enough. I’ll give an 8. This model comes with a standard display stand and magnetic landing gear. It’s very easy to insert the gears. All three gear door covers fit the slots perfectly. It isn’t always the case for Gemini’s 757s. And this one made it. The plane looks so cool in cruising mode on the stand. I’ll give an 8.

If we just take a quick browse, it seems the mould has no obvious flaws. The iconic winglets are in good shape and correct angle. The wings also look good, just look pretty much the same as the mould of the previous releases. However, this one actually suffers from a slightly pointy nose. It just doesn’t look right from whatever angle if we look closely. This is a major failing. So, I can only give the mould a 7.

The shape and the exterior of these two PW2037 engines are very good. But the fan blades can’t move. They are fixed and look less realistic than most of others nowadays. I’ll only give a 7. For build, I don’t see any obvious problem. The wings and the horizontal stabilizer attachments are very well done. There’s no awkward seams with the fuselage. The vertical stabilizer stands vertically and is very strict. The engine ground clearance is good. So, I’ll give an 8.

Just like other Gemini 757s, the nose gear leg is extremely chunky. While it’s correct not to make it standing 180 degree vertically, yet this one is definitely over and leans towards the back too dramatically. The main gears look quite good and can tilt. I’ll say the undercarriage only deserves a 7.

Most of the major devices on the fuselage are made by individual parts. All cargo doors and devices are nicely printed. However, this ADF antenna is only printed, so are the landing lights on the wings and on the nose gear leg. I’ll give an 8. This model has depicted Delta’s livery perfectly. All the colours and typefaces are correct. The blue belly is not a horizontal line, which is correct. And there’s Delta’s title underneath. I’ll give a 9.

All the four Delta colours are very sharp and bright. I especially like the kinda 3D effects created by the red and dark red portions of the Delta logo. It deserves a 10 for painting. Gemini’s 757300 models have been one of the highly sought after. The resell prices of the first 2 Delta releases are always jaw dropping. This new release gives us a chance to get one with a reasonable price. I think you should get yours before it’s too late. I’ll say it deserves a 9 for value.
