On June 18, 2024, the U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau is hosting “GenderBased Violence and Harassment in Focus: A Summit to Create an Equitable World of Work” at the U.S. Department of Labor Frances Perkins Building from 9:00AM – 5:00PM EDT. This allday Summit will focus on opportunities to end genderbased violence and harassment in the world of work. Marking the oneyear anniversary of the release of the U.S. National Plan to End GenderBased Violence, the Summit will convene workers, unions, employers, government representatives, worker advocates and other stakeholders who are working to prevent and address genderbased violence and harassment in the world of work at the national, state and local levels. Speakers and participants will discuss the importance of identifying, responding to, and preventing genderbased violence and harassment in the world of work.
