GENETICS 101| In part 2 of this series I focus on cell division, explaining the key features and stages of mitosis and meiosis. I show how chromosomes behave during each cell division as one cell forms two or more cells. I also outline the purpose of each cell division in living organisms. Cells divide for four main reasons: growth, tissue formation, tissue repair and reproduction.
