Genshin Impact is an openworld action roleplaying game that allows the player to control one of four interchangeable characters in a party. Switching between characters can be done quickly during combat, allowing the player to use several different combinations of skills and attacks.

This game follows the story of a boy/girl (you choose the character at the start of the game) with magical powers, travelling from world to world along with his twin that gets trapped inside the world of Teyvat by a mysterious god, who separates the teens and takes with her the twin that was not selected by the player.
