This session will help you gain an understanding of the data storage format that Esri uses in the ArcGIS platform, namely the geodatabase, and discuss the benefits of using it in your teaching and research. We will discuss workflows that cover geodatabase creation, data and schema loading, and behaviour rules designed to enforce data integrity. While use cases for incorporating geodatabases into your teaching and research projects are likely to differ across campuses, the topics discussed in this webinar cover sufficient content to allow you to introduce and explain the main aspects of geodatabases and their uses to students as they are introduced to Esri software.
