The ICE operated by Deutsche Bahn is Germany's fastest train at 330 kilometers per hour. Every year, the ICE brings millions of travelers to their destinations in the shortest possible time and has been even faster since the end of 2017: Since then, the highspeed trains have been racing on the newly built BerlinMunich highspeed axis from the federal capital to the state capital in just under four hours. Our documentary accompanies an ICE train driver in his daily work and shows the training of new ICE train drivers in the simulator.
