Alright, so I was sent some Japanese maple seeds all the way from the other side of the country and we're going to be germinating them........hopefully! In this video, I'm going to show how to plant and grow a Japanese red maple from seed. The original Japanese maple tree that this seed came from is being torn out by the owner and this is the one chance that we have to save the genetics and have this tree for future years. I'm told that every seedling grows up to look just like the parent tree! We'll see what happens. Special thanks to Dan for sending the seeds.
